After 13 days of not giving a shit about work, today was back at it.
Honestly, it wasn't so bad. I think part of that is because many people disconnected for the holidays and are just digging out from the backlog. I did get a bit frustrated because there are several customers having issues and reaching out to me, even though I am unable to help.
- One person has reached out at least a dozen times to our "Customer Care Team" for the same issue and getting no response. I don't understand how that happens. There have been several instances similar.
- Another one because they are looking for an invoice from an event two weeks ago, but nobody has generated the invoice. How can this company make any money if we don't send invoices? Why is it not an automated process?
I shouldn't complain. I'm doing the best I can do and try to stay in my lane. I think my colleagues see that I'm putting forth my best effort and I think my customers also see that. Sometimes I wonder if my boss sees that, or just sees the late performance appraisals, missed training deadlines, and other bureaucratic stuff i'm neglecting.
Made the call to Silverrock to update the PS tee times. Hate to have them at 11 on Superbowl sunday. Hopefully we will finish in 4 hours in time to see the start of the game - scheduled for 330pm.
Need to call Northside Electric and get them out to replace the Chargepoint.
